New Delhi: T20 World Cup 2021 will be held in UAE in the month of October. Indian team is the biggest contender to win this big tournament. Team India has so many star players to fill every place at this time that it is very difficult even for a couple of players to get a place in the World Cup team. Meanwhile, there is a player whose place in the team is absolutely sure, but Indian captain Virat Kohli himself will cut his card from the playing 11.
This player is threatened by Kohli
Team India’s star opening batsman KL Rahul is in good form at the moment. Rahul’s bat also plays well in limited overs cricket. But still, Indian captain Virat Kohli can take him out in the upcoming T20 World Cup. In fact, Kohli has already clearly said that he himself can come to bat in the World Cup with Rohit Sharma. Virat has already done this.
Leaf will be cut from the opening
When the Indian team met in the T20 series against England at the beginning of the year, KL Rahul was a complete failure. In such a situation, Captain Sahib himself took the responsibility of opening with Rohit. Both the batsmen washed the England bowlers fiercely in that match and gave India victory. In such a situation, on a big occasion like the World Cup, Kohli will not make any mistake and would like to take up this big responsibility himself.
Rahul can also replace Pant
Virat can give wicketkeeping to Rahul instead of opening and he can be dropped at number 5 or 6. In such a situation, Rishabh Pant can be left out of the team. Let us tell you that Rahul has already done this work. He was given a chance as a wicket-keeper batsman on the tour of New Zealand and he performed amazingly. KL Rahul has shown that in which he can make a place in the team as a batsman as well as a wicketkeeper. He has now presented a big challenge for Rishabh Pant in the T20 World Cup.
