Door-to-door COVID-19 vaccination: The central government has taken a big decision regarding the Kovid 19 vaccination campaign. Door-to-door Kovid 19 vaccine will be installed in the country. People will be vaccinated from door to door. NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul said that ‘door to door’ Kovid vaccination has been allowed in India.

Guidelines have been issued for this. NITI Aayog member Dr VK Paul said that I am happy to inform that we have made a provision for those people who are handicapped and are not able to reach the vaccination center, they can follow the SOP in a supervised manner. You can get vaccinated from at home.

Dr VK Paul said that I am happy to inform that an advisory has been issued to make arrangements for ‘Vaccination at Home’ for the handicapped and unable to move as per the Kovid SOP. About 2/3 of the adult population has been vaccinated.

What percentage of the population received both doses

Regarding the vaccination campaign, Secretary, Ministry of Health, Rajesh Bhushan said that about 66 percent of the country’s population has been given at least one dose of vaccine and 23 percent of the population has been fully vaccinated. Announcing to speed up the vaccination campaign, he said that the differently-abled and the people who are unable to move will be vaccinated at their homes.

The first dose to such a percentage of the population

Six states/UTs have given the first dose to 100% of their population. These are Lakshadweep, Chandigarh, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Sikkim. Four states/UTs have more than 90 per cent coverage of the first dose – these are Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Kerala, Ladakh and Uttarakhand.

most active cases

The Health Ministry said that despite the decrease in the cases of corona virus infection, we are still in the middle of the second wave of the epidemic. Kerala is the only state where the number of patients under treatment for Kovid-19 is more than one lakh. Of the total cases reported last week, 62.73 percent were from this state.
